International VDI Conference - Energy and Materials from Waste 2013

The international VDI Conference “Energy and Materials from Waste” will look at the utilization of waste as a source of electricity, district heating and materials such as minerals and metals. Waste is a resource and viable solution that helps to reduce emissions and landfill. Waste-to-Energy (WtE) technology offers one of the most robust and effective alternative energy recovery options to save limited fossil fuel resources used by traditional power plants and thus reduce energy dependence.

The VDI conference in cooperation with CEWEP, ESWET, ISWA, GKS and Prewin will discuss major issues for the Waste-to-Energy and recycling markets in technical, political and business areas, drawing on leading experiences from all over Europe. The event aims to encourage an international exchange of experience on Waste-to-Energy technology and recycling and to be a showcase for the latest technologies in this rapidly growing market.
