Submit your professional papers

Are you very knowledgeable in one of our focus areas? We would like to give you the opportunity to participate actively in our congress with a presentation. You can do this by submitting an abstract of a maximum of one DIN-A4 page by 25 October 2019. This should include the following:

  • The title of your presentation
  • Your contact information as well as that of any possible co-authors
  • An abstract that summarises the key messages of your lecture
  • Information on the level of innovation and other publications by you on the topic
  • Listing of the specific title and short presentation bullets for publication in the program brochure in English (required)

You can hold your presentation in German or English and 20 minutes are at your disposal for the duration of the presentation followed by a discussion. The presentation and manuscript must be written in English. The short version will be used by the Program Committee as a basis for the acceptance and inclusion in the congress program. If we accept your presentation topic, we will notify you in writing and you will receive information on the next steps. As a speaker, you can attend the congress free-of-charge. As a participating speaker, you agree to submit a 12-16 page manuscript. The manuscripts of all presentations will appear in a VDI report.

  • Data and safety in the drive system
  • Development methods and production concepts
