International VDI Workshop - Data Driven Asset Management - How to establish new Maintenance Concepts

Data Driven Asset Management | Int. VDI Workshop

The international VDI Data Driven Asset Management Workshop will show you the new business models and maintenance concepts made possible by digitalization in asset management. You’ll learn about the challenges as well as the diverse opportunities that come from using data driven asset management. Tangible application examples and case studies from a variety of industries will also show you what matters most in practice. Included in that are things such as cooperation between manufacturers and operators, optimal organization of maintenance processes as well as successful IT/OT integration.

Successfully develop and implement new maintenance concepts

Digitalization has a lasting, transformative impact on servicing and maintenance processes. To increase the availability of facilities, such as in discrete manufacturing or the process industry, dynamic servicing and maintenance intervals are required, rather than fixed ones. To make these possible, data driven maintenance processes are necessary, where operators, constructors of facilities and components as well as external contractors work hand-in-hand and freely exchange data.

The international VDI Data Driven Asset Management Workshop will show you how you can use IoT data as a basis for servicing and the roles digital twins and semantic data models play in the process. The workshop will convey not just theoretical concepts, but also learnings from practical examples, which will help you to adapt your business processes and develop viable new business models. After the workshop, you will be in the position to better assess the technical and organizational requirements for process optimization, as well as the ‘dos and don’ts’ of implementation.
