Maximizing the potential in private grounds
The general shortage and inadequate qualification of drivers is a major challenge across all industrial sectors, especially in intralogistics. On top of that, the lack of transparency in operations that take place on private grounds presents a wealth of opportunity to improve efficiency. Automation and the digital integration of standardized and repetitive tasks is the ideal solution to make the most of these opportunities and to save time while reducing costs as well. The VDI Workshop “Automation on Private Ground – Economic Quick Wins and Innovative First Movers” will look at the technology available today on the basis of practical use cases and interactive discussions. This event is ideal for professionals, experts and management involved in logistics, operational planning and supply chain management, amongst others, and will give participants the opportunity to design and discuss their own productive E2E automation project. The workshop will focus on the following areas:
- An overview of automated operations on private grounds across different industries
