International VDI Workshop - Role of the SOTIF for Highly Automated Driving (HAD)
Autonomous or partially autonomous cars must be able to master a seemingly unlimited number of potentially dangerous situations. The new international standard ISO 21448 “Road Vehicles – Safety of Intended functionality“ (SOTIF) was developed to secure the required driving functions reliably and verifiably. The VDI Role of SOTIF for Highly Automated Driving Workshop will give you an overview of the content, structure and guiding principles of the standard and will show you in practice what you need to consider when implementing it.

The last several years have shown that the safety of set functions are an essential prerequisite for highly automated driving.
