Getting to us and parking
Room reservation
Please book your room in advance.
We have reserved a limited number of rooms for congress participants at the Dorint Kongresshotel Mannheim, which is directly connected to the Rosengarten.
Please book directly with the hotel using the keyword "VDI 2020" by email (info.mannheimdorintcom) or by phone (+49 621/1251-0).

Refer colleagues and get a real functioning drone!
We’ll give you a real, functioning drone! All we need from you is a bit of help and support. This page will tell you how the promotion works.
How does it work?
If you get a colleague to sign up and participate in PIAE, you’ll receive a fully functioning drone as a thank you. Once your own booking is complete, we’ll send you a code via email, which your colleague(s) can use for their booking.
Why is it worth taking part?
Both the person making the referral and the other colleague signing up will receive a mini drone worth 30 Euros. It can fly for a long time and is very stable. It can also fly reliably and smoothly even outside your field of view and can hover independently. Automated take off and landing makes it easy even for beginners to fly and the drone can then be controlled independently later on without any issues.
What do we need to do to get the drones?
To get your drones, you need to do the following two things:
- Forward the email with the code you receive from us to your colleague(s) who could be interested in PIAE.
- If your colleague(s) use the code in the email and refer you as a source, then both of you can collect your drones at the event on the second day.
Where and when will we get our drones?
We will hand out the drones on the second day of the PIAE event. The exact location will be confirmed.
