The VDI Transmission Congress 2017 – famous and well-tried now at a new Venue

Having run many successful events at the venue in Friedrichshaften for a number of years, the international VDI Congress “Drivetrains for Vehicles“ is now ready to move house. This summer the Congress will be held in Bonn for the first time ever, Germany’s former Capital, not far from what used to be the Deutsche Bundestag and the German headquarter of the United Nations. Located in a prime spot on the Rhine, this fairly new Congress building equipped with state-of-the-art technology is characterized by an inviting architecture suffused with light, which epitomizes openness and transparency. This is where German history encounters a modern, international atmosphere - a contrast with a particularly stunning effect.

Our mission remains the same: Technology

And we stay true to our objective which is to offer you – just as in all the previous years – a highly professional programme. Again, a team of experts will ensure the high quality you are accustomed to: the programme committee.

In a joint effort, industry and research representatives who are driven by a deep concern to find solutions for current challenges in series development are going to select the presentations. Key criteria will be sophisticated technology, innovatory value und relevance for today’s development.

You can rest assured that only the most interesting contributions will make their way onto the agenda.

You can look forward to an exciting programme, which will be published in spring 2017
