The Specialist Program – Core Element of the Congress
The International VDI Congress “Drivetrain for Vehicles“ is based on its core element, the specialist program. Having been reviewed and selected by a number of experts, the lectures actually reflect any challenges developers are currently facing in the preliminary and series development of transmissions in addition to hybrid and electrified power trains. In other words: you will only hear lectures that make a substantial contribution to those development issues that really matter.
The Specialist Program of the VDI Congress “Drivetrain for Vehicles“ can be viewed here.;
For many years the Congress has established itself as a platform for adjacent sectors and related topic areas, which means that - in addition to the passenger vehicle industry - the focus this year will also be placed on another industry and subject area.
The International VDI Conference “Transmissions in commercial vehicles“ has been tailored to serve an audience with a development background in the commercial vehicle industry. The aim is here to strengthen the effectiveness of the information exchange amongst development experts in the commercial vehicle business as well as foster the cross-industry communication.
The current Specialist Program of the VDI Congress “Transmissions in commercial vehicles“ is provided here.
A further international conference headed “Control solutions for transmissions“ allows attendants a greater understanding of the particular challenges posed by electronic transmissions – all contents are delivered with great technical depth, which is second to none in Europe.
The current Expert Program of the VDI Conference “Control solutions for transmissions“ can be found here.
The VDI places special emphasis on continuous education geared towards the ongoing build-up of knowledge amongst engineers. Therefore 5 workshops will be held on the day prior to the Congress, which will help transmission and drivetrain engineers expand and deepen their knowledge.
Topics of the workshops can be found here.
Unfortunately, the workshops can only be offered in German.
